It takes less time than putting up and taking down the tape. Keep a wet rag by your side just in case you create small mistakes. Some tape also lets the paint bleed-through, so it’s not a clean finish.
Store your rollers and brushes during a plastic grocery sack between paintings. You don’t need to clean them after each use if you retain them from drying out. Refrigerate overnight or freeze them if you're not getting to be painting for several days or weeks. Turn the ceiling fan on during a room to hurry up drying time.
